Michigan Southern Railroad

The Michigan Southern Railway is a 25x25 HO layout in Northville Michigan. The Layout features three decks with a helix. This switching layout is basically a point-to-point single track main containing lots of of operation in each of its 13 towns. With 30 working interchanges crossing it's North South line from Michigan to Tennessee, there is much foreign engine power appearing each operation session. 20 car drags and 15 car locals are normal during operation as they use the layout detection and signals.

The layout has a handpainted backdrop on all levels and the scenery is 85% complete. The MSR uses the Thumbtack system of car routing with NCE DCC.
